What is the ruling on one who combines audible and silent recitation in a single prayer, such as reciting Al-Fatihah audibly and then silently reciting the surah that follows it, whether in an audible or silent prayer?

It is prescribed for the worshipper to recite silently in a place where silence is enjoined and audibly in a place where audible recitation is enjoined. If one recites silently in a place where audible recitation is enjoined, or audibly in a place where silence is enjoined, then if it is out of necessity, there is no harm. However, if it is done intentionally without necessity, one has abandoned the Sunnah (definition), though their prayer remains valid. If a worshipper behind the Imam recites audibly, they disturb other worshippers. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade this, saying: "Let not some of you raise your voices over others in the Qur'an."
