What is the Sharia ruling on someone who completely dislikes and boycotts their relatives due to financial and family entanglements, and sees boycotting as a means of preserving their rights after Allah has blessed them with wealth?

Severing ties of kinship is forbidden and considered among the major sins. A severe warning has been issued against its perpetrator in the Quran and Sunnah. Therefore, it is impermissible to forsake kin due to worldly or financial matters. It is advisable to concede some rights to maintain ties of kinship, for humbling oneself for the sake of kin is praiseworthy and rewarded. A supporter from Allah remains with the one who maintains these ties.
