The answer

If someone vows to abandon a sin, they must fulfill their vow, as abandoning sin is inherently obligatory. If they commit the sin after making the vow, they must repent and offer an expiation for breaking an oath: feeding ten poor people or clothing them. If they cannot find the means, then they must fast for three consecutive days. If the vow was made under the influence of obsessive thoughts (waswasah), psychological pressure, and a lack of free will, then the vow is not valid, and nothing is binding from it. In such a case, it is considered like a vow made under duress.
