The answer

It is permissible for a man to speak with a woman out of necessity, such as a husband speaking with the mothers of his students to inquire about their children, provided that the conversation is brief and free from flattery.

A wife's jealousy over her husband is commendable as long as it does not exceed reasonable limits and harm both parties. Ibn Uthaymeen likened it to dust: if it increases beyond its limit, it becomes detrimental. He advised the wife to reduce her jealousy and the husband to thank Allah for his wife's love for him.

If the husband is lenient in his speech with women, the wife should advise him gently and wisely, reminding him of the seriousness of the matter. He should fear Allah and stop the conversation if he fears temptation, and he should leave any house where he fears temptation for himself.
