What is the ruling on taking money without a just cause from a person who is not upon the creed of Ahl al-Sunnah?

It is impermissible to consume a Muslim's wealth unlawfully, even if they differ in madhhab (definition) (school of thought), based on Allah's saying: ﴿And do not consume your property among yourselves through falsehood﴾ and His saying: ﴿O you who have believed, do not consume one another's property unlawfully except by trade [involving mutual consent] from among you﴾. And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Every Muslim's blood, wealth, and honor are sacred to another Muslim." Similarly, it is impermissible to assault the wealth of non-belligerent disbelievers. Plundering people's wealth is among the grave sins for which there is no expiation, as stated in the hadith (definition) of Abu Hurayrah. And whoever takes wealth unlawfully must return it to its owner before the Day of Judgment, otherwise, it will be taken from their good deeds or the wrongdoer's sins will be placed upon them.
