What is the ruling on a doctor taking 40% of the income of a dental clinic where he works, without having any capital or expenses in it?

This transaction is permissible, with no objection to it, according to the more preponderant of the two scholarly opinions. This is based on an analogy with Mudarabah (profit-sharing partnership) and is not a lease agreement where knowledge of the rent is a prerequisite.
