Is it a condition for the completion of repentance from envy to rectify what was damaged because of it, and is it obligatory to inform the person who was the object of envy and ask for their forgiveness for the repentance to be accepted?

One must be cautious not to harm Muslims in their persons, families, or properties. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Every Muslim's blood, property, and honor are sacred to another Muslim," and "There shall be no harm or reciprocating harm." The evil eye occurs with admiration, even if there is no envy. The one who admires something should pray for blessings upon its owner to avert harm and say, "What Allah wills, there is no power except with Allah." There is no guarantee for damage resulting from the evil eye, and there might be other causes for the harm besides the evil eye. One must be cautious about being alone with or speaking unnecessarily to a woman one wishes to marry before the marriage contract. A person's attention to what might emanate from them is good, as long as it does not reach the point of obsessive doubt.
