The fluid that exits a man is either semen, which necessitates ghusl; or pre-seminal fluid (madhy), which is impure and requires washing the private parts and any part of the body it touches, and sprinkling water on clothes it touches is sufficient; or post-urinary discharge (wady), which exits after urination, is impure, and necessitates only what urine necessitates.
