What is the ruling on dividing the estate of the deceased mentioned, what is the share of each heir, and what is the status of the floors built by the sons?

If the heirs are limited to the wife, sons, and daughters directly, then the wife inherits one-eighth due to the presence of a lineal descendant, and the remainder goes to the sons and daughters by virtue of ta'sib (agnatic inheritance), with the male receiving the share of two females. As for the floor built by some of the heirs after their father's death, if it was with the permission of the rest of the adult, competent heirs, then it belongs to them. Otherwise, it falls under the ruling of a partner building without the permission of their co-partner. Regarding those who renovated some apartments and resided in them, if this was with the permission of someone whose permission is considered valid, then there is no problem. Otherwise, it is advisable to refer the matter to the Sharia (definition) courts.
