What is the ruling on giving a child a piece of dough, with the expectation that it will fall on the ground or be thrown in the trash after being played with? And is this considered a desecration of the bounty (Ni'mah)?

It is impermissible to let a girl spoil dough or throw it in the trash, as this goes against respecting food, showing gratitude for blessings, and preserving them. Also, it involves wasting money, which is forbidden in Islamic law. Wasting money means spending it in ways that are not religiously sanctioned or exposing it to damage. Giving dough to children to play with is a degradation of the blessing. The Shari'a has commanded us to preserve and honor blessings, and spoiling food and being ungrateful for blessings are causes of destruction and ruin for homes.
